What can be said about February?  Snow, snow and more snow.  Throw in an ice storm that knocked power out for 3 days early in the month, a ski trip, and the kids running laps to raise money for a new playground at their school and it made for an exciting month.

 Took my mother to the airport at zero dark thirty Sunday morning Feb. 2nd.  Took a pic of the gym at 6am on a Sunday since it would likely be the only time I worked out at that time

Heard about the drinking challenge that involves chugging a beer?  I hadn't either.  Also hadn't chugged a beer since 1996.  

 Early on the morning of Feb. 5th, we lost power at home due to the ice storm.  At around 7:30am, so did the gym

 Power out that night at home.  Fireplace is gas.

 Tried to run sump pump off of car battery - managed to blow out a fuse

 Power came back on briefly while I was emptying sump pump by hand, had to take a picture after 2.5 days in the dark

 Date night with my wife on Friday the 7th

 We had a nice dinner at Uncle Jason's on Feb. 8th.  The kids slept over that night.

 Remember the basement damaged by water?  Repairs finally started on the 10th.

 Kids got a late night trip to DQ as school was canceled before the concert due to more snow coming down

 The following morning I had to venture out to get Chance more crickets and mealworms for his lizard

 Since I had come all the way out to PetSmart to get a quick workout in at the gym which is next door

 Pretty much had the place to myself

 Happy V day to my wife - I was cleaning snow off of her hood and the brush I was using broke.  I thought I was using brush but I was using sharp plastic

 The next night the O'Hara family came over for dinner...Winston included

 The next day we got up and headed up to Blue Mountain.  We had lunch across from our bed and breakfast before skiing

 It was mobbed, lesson learned - never again on the Sunday President's Day weekend

Too bad the battery died on my cell while I was taking this clip.  We had the mountain to ourselves on the way down for that last run
