Happy 6th Birthday Alexis! January 3rd & 9th, 2011.

Lexie is a very lucky little girl. We first celebrated her birthday in North Carolina on New Years Day so we could celebrate with Nana and Grandpa. She got a 2nd cake 2 days later on the 3rd of January which was her actual birthday. Finally, the following Sunday she got to celebrate with her friends and classmates at Jumpers.

The 2nd of 3 birthday cakes is presented to Alexis on the night of her actual birthday, January 3rd.

This is not the norm - Aunt Andrea was encouraging it.

North Carolina Visit. December 26th, 2010 - January 2nd, 2011.

My brother-in-law Derek and his wife April had a baby girl on December 22nd. Since Chance wasn't with us for Thanksgiving we decided we would head down Christmas afternoon and stay through the New Year. For the Northerners reading this, yes we did drive right through the blizzard heading up the coast that hit Philly on Sunday, Dec. 26th.

Christmas Day at Nana's. December 25th, 2010.

After Christmas morning at our house we headed over to my mother's so the kids could open presents there. Mommom joined us for the occasion prior to us leaving that afternoon for North Carolina.
