Assorted December Pics & Videos, 2013

The Allen clan closed out 2013 with a busy month that saw us celebrate a late Thanksgiving in early December.  We also traveled to NC for Christmas and New Years.  We had a great time in 2013 and are looking forward to 2014. 

Monday, Dec. 2nd:  an old friend from high school was in town from California to visit with family.  Below a pic of Maddie and Alexis

Moments after this pic was taken, Duke's collar fell off.  It was snowing so hard by the time we discovered it was missing, we never found it
 

It was a great day at the dog park, and the Eagles beat the Lions that day!
 

Later that afternoon I drove to pick up Mom.  This pic was taken b/c the road she lives off of was a parking lot on the ice.  We did a late Thanksgiving at our house since Dana and the kids were in NC for the real thing
 

When she came over for Thanksgiving dinner, Nana gave the kids a gift:
