Jayson and Sarah's Wedding in Chicago. September 30th - October 1st, 2006.

The Hotel Monaco in Chicago had these robes in the room of which Dana made me put one on before we got ready for the rehearsal dinner.

I think I would have preferred the Zebra pattern

These next few were taken at the rehearsal dinner.
I hadn't seen James for years - he and I were good friends in college, even roomed together for a year.

Trip to Puerta Plata, Dominican Republic. September 9th - 16th, 2006.

The timeshare this year that Dana's folks gave us the points for was in the Dominican Republic during their off-season which fell into mid-September. We did have some issues with the initial hotel we were supposed to stay at - so by the end of the first night we had relocated. Our week included getting to watch our NFL teams play on Sunday - 18 holes of golf on Monday - horseback riding on Wed. on the beach - and white water rafting on Thursday. Enjoy the pics. Be sure to check out the videos in this section as well.

Plenty of shade

If you remember, there were about 3 hurricanes brewing around this time...we were lucky, it just rained once during the week while we were horseback riding.

We managed to find the only bar in town with the NFL ticket where Dana got to watch the Panthers game and I got to see the Eagles beat the Texans. The owner of the bar and his father were from Philly and big Eagles fans. Frank invited me out to golf with him the next day at Playa De Grande, one of the nicest courses on the island. So, on Monday morning we met at his bar on the beach and started the drive out to the course.

Our foursome included Louis(pro), Frank, myself and Bobby.

Just to give you an idea of what it looked like from the fairway.
These next 4 pics were taken from different angles on the first teebox.

Bob took several pics as well that he was kind enough to email to me...he took this set.

If you enlarge this picture and look very closely you can see my golf ball stuck in the middle of it...yep, it's true. It landed up there and just stayed right where it hit.
