Labor Day Weekend in NC. September 2nd - 6th, 2011.

Dan and Dianna had a weekend in the mountains planned so we headed down to watch the house and the animals.  Didn't take too many pics, but a cute video clip of everyone making baby Ella laugh.

Back to School! August 29th, 2011.

Hard to believe Chance is now in the 3rd grade and Alexis in 2nd.  The kids were excited for it though.  Morning of Lexie told us she was so excited she felt like a baby rabbit with it's first carrot.  Hopefully the enthusiasm lasts all school year.

Great Adventure. Tuesday, August 23rd,

Just as we did last year with Hershey Park we took the kids to an amusement park for a last hurrah before school started.  We tried to avoid the large crowds and we went on a Tuesday but everyone must have had the same idea because it was jam packed.  Also happened to be the day the earthquake hit outside of Virginia.  The park shut down all the rides for about an hour or so after the quake hit.  The kids enjoyed it though.  

I have fond memories of the safari at Great Adventure from when I was about Lexie's age. Before we took the kids on the rides, we took them through the safari which they enjoyed. Lots of pics from the safari, only 2 from the park.

Didn't get to finish making the movie because the girl running the ride told me I couldn't take pictures.  If you listen carefully, you can hear her telling me so over the speakers.
