In The Pool. Saturday, June 25th, 2005.

We had actually had Lexie in the pool about 3 weeks ago but yours truly managed to forget the camera. Luckily for you, the viewer, it didn't look much different than these shots. Lexie had a great time and just kicked her chubby little legs away when they were under water. As for Chance, he'd have fun in a puddle - so you know he was up for it. Alexis will be 6 months old on July 3rd.

What a great shot this is, AND - an added bonus, you can see her tooth coming in on the bottom. I guess it came in about 2 or 3 weeks ago. 5 1/2 months, I'm told that's a little young to cut a tooth. Posted by Hello

These next few are amusing - although not pictured I am lying in the sun on the other raft in the deep end...Chance decided he'd do the same thing. Here, he's trying to pretend to sleep as I was out cold.  Posted by Hello

Last but certainly not least, this is one of my father's day presents from Dana - a great 8x10 black and white of Lexie having her cheeks squeezed as she smiles. It resides on the corner of my desk at work. Posted by Hello

Father's Day Weekend: June 17th - 19th, 2005.

Father's Day will never be the same again - my first as a father. The weekend started out Friday night at La Locanda - as it often does, for dinner. Dana had talked about taking Chance to the Camden Aquarium all week since he loves to watch "Finding Nemo" so much. We took the kids on Saturday and they enjoyed it. Dana had actually purchased a fish tank and filter that had been sitting for a few days in order to get the water properly filtrated for the fish. On the way home from the aquarium in Jersey, we picked up 2 goldfish and a snail. On Sunday, the family got together at my parents' place. The old man grilled out on his father's day gift and we all enjoyed the partially constructed brand new deck.
