Chance's Uncle Derek has a friend who is a firefighter in Charlotte. On Friday Chance got to spend some time there trying on the gear and checking out the fire engine.

Father's Day Weekend. June 14th - 17th, 2007.

Ever since Dallas got married back in January, those of us (Albert, James and I) with young daughters had been planning a family vacation at some point. The timing worked out for Father's Day weekend in Destin, FL. All 3 families maintain blogs (see Grayton and Deanna's sites on the sidebar) so you know plenty of pics were taken between 3 digital cameras. Once I got picture CD's from Albert and Christy I was able to sort through them all and update the site. Special thanks to Amber's father who made the weekend possible.

Saturday morning was deep sea fishing for the dads and moms got to have the day at the beach with the girls. Before they left for the beach Lexie enjoyed giving Deanna a ride in her Elmo stroller
