Having turned 6 months old on the 3rd, Lexie was overdue for her 6 month check-up. I met Dana and the kids at the Doctor's office...Dana doesn't like to be around when they give Lexie the shots, so Dad gets to hold her. She did great leading up to that point: She is now 16 lbs. & 26 inches. Almost crawling, has a 2nd tooth that just came in next to the domino on the bottom, and she has started on some solid foods such as fruit and baby crackers that melt in her mouth. The Dr. told us that she is right in the middle of where babies her age should be in terms of length and weight - and as for her overall health and look (as if I needed to be told) she is "absolutely perfect" - remember, not my words! Then came the shots. The last time we had been in the Nurse had her lying down on the table - this time, I held her as she was injected. Needless to say, not the best experience for the bambino. Dana put some ice on her thighs when she got home and she got over it quickly. The following pics were taken during a feeding session with her Dad in the high chair the following night.

To the Jersey Shore. July 8-10th, 2005.
This series starts out with some more pics of Lexie in her Tigger swing...she has become a huge fan. On Saturday morning we managed to get a sitter for the kids and we headed to Spring Lake, NJ for the night - see the posts below for more detail. The weekend concluded with a great meal in Center City with the folks.

We had a good Saturday...my buddy Steve missed the Luau b/c he had a live broadcast to do from a nightclub for work. We were catching up and he told me he had another live broadcast on Saturday night at a club in Belmar, NJ. He said if Dana and I could make it there, it would be a blast. He did not disappoint. We left on Saturday morning and got a day in at the beach in Spring Lake, NJ before going to the club that night. Thanks Steve!
