Uncle Michael's Visit to PA - May 29th, 2007.

Michael Grimes is a close friend who used to be a roommate of mine when we both lived in Ocala and worked for VNN. He is now a Public Affairs specialist for State Farm out of Lakeland, FL. He had not yet met Lexie or Chance and flew up for the Memorial Day weekend on Friday night. Right before I took him to the airport on Tuesday morning we were able to get a couple quick shots of him with the kids. As for the kids' hair, I take the blame for that one - before daycare the hair gets sprayed with a water bottle and brushed straight back if I'm the one doing it.

That night Dana brought the kids out to my softball game. There is a playground in deep center field that the kids like to play on. While enjoying mandarin oranges they have a kiss for one another.

Justin's 1st Birthday Party. May 12th, 2007.

My cousin Andrew and his wife Michele hosted a party for their son turning a year old. It was a good day and we were all happy 'Butch' could make the trip as he continues to recover from the fracture in his femur.

Baby Loves Disco. May 6th, 2007.

My sister Elise had given us ample time to prepare for the event known as 'Baby Loves Disco' in Philadelphia. It is an event that goes on across the nation where all of these hot-spot night clubs in major cities open up in the middle of the afternoon and play 80's disco music for the kids and parents. As you will see from the pics, the kids enjoyed themselves.

Cinco De Mayo, 2007.

It was a good weekend. Two fraternity brothers from out of town were in for the weekend. We managed to get a sitter and headed into the city for the day. We started out with a co-ed football scrimmage since our opponents didn't show that day. After watching the Kentucky Derby, the whole group got cleaned up and went out to dinner in Philly. Jayson and Sarah were kind enough to purchase the De La Hoya/Mayweather fight on PPV. While the guys watched the whole fight the girls headed out to a nearby bar. I think the whole crew was pulling for the Golden Boy.
