Softball Championships. Sunday, July 29th & Tuesday, July 31st.

I was fortunate enough this season to have both teams that I play softball for make it to the championship series. The first set of images are from my Millennium League team, Welkut Landscaping. The best-of-3 series took place on Sunday afternoon. We won the first two games, 10-7. One of our players, Steve Martin was there with his camera and took some great action shots. On Tuesday we continued our West Chester championship series with Kelly's Sports. That series was a best-of-5. We dropped the first two games back on Tuesday the 24th, 13-12 & 10-8. We came roaring back Thursday winning 16-10 and 22-1. It all came down to the rubber match. We were the visiting team and had trailed 11-6 headed to the top of the 5th where we scored 15 runs. The final score was 24-13 and it secured our 3rd consecutive championship.
